The information below is for local scholarships. Once a form is completed and saved, email Mr. Gendrue a copy of the completed application by the deadline noted on the specific application. Be sure to include any required essay with your name and scholarship at the top of the essay. For any questions please email Mr. Gendrue by clicking on his email link.
Copies of each scholarship are also available in the Guidance Office.

ZONTA Club of Lockport
Charter Member Memorial Scholarship*
This scholarship is awarded to a senior girl graduating in June from a high school in Eastern Niagara County for her freshman year at an accredited four year college of her choice. $2000.00
Zonta Club of Lockport Memorial Scholarship*
This scholarship is awarded to a senior girl graduating in June from a high school in Eastern Niagara County for her freshman year at an accredited four-year college of her choice. $1000.00
Zonta Club of Lockport Scholarship*
This scholarship is awarded to a senior girl graduating in June from a high school in Eastern Niagara County for her fresheman year at an accredited two or four-year college of her choice. $750 & $500 (Two scholarships will be awarded)
*PLEASE NOTE: You only have to complete one application. You will be considered for all scholarships.
Deadline for all scholarship applications is April 22, 2022

The Doris Winship Newton and Joann Greenwald Memorial Scholarship is offered to students who are planning to pursue higher education
in the Math, Sciences or Healthcare field, are active in community service, and have a financial need. -
American Legion - Herbert W. Carr Post 425 Scholarship Application
The Herbert W. Carr Post 425 of the American Legion is awarding a $500 scholarship to a senior who is continuing his/her
education at an accredited institution of higher learning. One-half of the scholarship will be paid after validation of enrollment
for the first semester and the other half will be forwarded after enrollment for the second semester.

Barker Lions Club Scholarship Application
To be eligible for a Barker Lions Scholarship, students must be residents of the Barker School District and be committed to community service. Post-high school plans can include college, trade school, or entering the skilled trades.

Barker Lions Club Dick Weeks Scholarship Application
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be entering a trade.The funds can be used for classes, equipment, or anything else to aid the student in entering the chosen trade.

Barker Music Parent Club (BMPC) Scholarship Application
Criteria for Applicants:
1.College-bound high school senior
2.Participation in a Barker High School graded performing group each year Or pursuing a music degree in college
3.Maintain music average of 90% each year

Barker Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) - Senior Scholarship Award
Qualifications:
•Current Senior at Barker Central School that will be graduating in June 2022. -
Barker Teachers Union (BTU) - Scholarship Application
The Barker Teachers Union is awarding scholarships to seniors who continue their education at accredited institutions of higher learning. The scholarship will be paid after validation of enrollment for the second semester. The BTU Scholarship Committee considers academic potential, school involvement and contributions, educational values, and the growth of the individual to determine the recipients of the scholarships. Scholarship recipients will be announced at graduation.

Lighthouse Optimist grants an award of $100. Emphasis for selection will be on the amount of community activities, local organizations and volunteer service.
