This information is in regards to district-issued Chromebooks:
1. Barker CSD students departing grades 1-11 this June will keep their school-assigned Chromebooks during the summer months.
2. Graduating seniors will drop their Chromebooks off to the high school main office by June 6. Graduation tickets will be withheld if a device is not returned. More information will be forthcoming from the high school main office.

We expect all students in grades 1-11 to return with these devices when school resumes in September. If a student is going to be transferring to another district or moving, please let the school office know. Also, students are responsible for the appropriate use of these devices. All district firewalls and management applications are still applied to the devices over the summer.

Library books are due on Friday, May 30th.

PowerSchool, a cloud-based software vendor used by the Barker Central School District, recently experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to certain information in the PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS). Please read the letter for the latest information.

The Barker Central School District has partnered with PAPER to provide all 7th-12th grade students with free 1-on-1 tutoring and writing support. If a student needs assistance with homework assignments, concept clarification, revising typed writing assignments or preparing for exams, PAPER is available 24/7.
