ANNUAL BUDGET VOTE AND TRUSTEE ELECTION

The Annual Budget Vote and Trustee Election will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from Noon to 8 P.M. in the Herbert F. Ludwig Fine Arts Hall in the Barker High School at 1628 Quaker Road, Barker, New York.
Two seats on the seven-member Board of Education will be available July 1, 2025. Currently, the three-year terms are held by Deanna Carnes and Jennifer Harris, the individuals receiving the highest numbers of votes will fill the terms.
Military, Absentee, and Early ballots are available by contacting the District Clerk at 716-795-3110 or meadie@barkercsd.net for an application.
Voter Eligibility - To qualify as a voter, a person must be:
- A citizen of the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- A resident of Barker Central School District for at least 30 days prior to the vote
No prior registration is required and residents do not have to be registered voters. (Education Law § 2012).
