    Scheving Is Only Triple Winner At Maroon Classic Invitational

    CHEEKTOWAGA -- On Saturday the Barker Varsity Track team competed for the first time in the Maroon Classic Invitational at Maryvale High School. The team finished with a strong fourth place as the boys defeated Tonawanda, Eden and Orchard Park. Leading the way for the boys was Tyler Scheving who was the only triple winner of the meet. Scheving ran smart races to win the 800 and 1600, and then joined David Poyfair, Zach Alt and Jed Platt to win the 3200 meter relay. Strong efforts were also turned in by Michael Lantinen, Robert Adams and Platt.
     
    The boys will be back on the track Tuesday in Albion.
