3200 Meter Relay Team Sets New School Record

    AKRON -- On Thursday night Boys Varsity Track team fought a hard battle, losing to Akron 86-55. The bright spot in defeat for the boys was a record setting performance by the 3200 meter relay team. Tyler Scheving, Zach Alt, Jed Platt and Michael Lantinen attacked the track and set a new school record in the event. Other winners Thursday included Rutger Moeller in the 110 hurdles, Scheving in the 800 and 1600 meter runs, Robert Adams in the high jump and John Austin in the shot put.
    The coaches would like to congratulate the boys on a great regular season and they are looking for great things at All league on May 19 and 20.
