    Platt Sets New School Record In 3000 Meter Steeple Chase

    SANBORN -- On Saturday the Varsity Boys Track team battled to a fifth place finish at the Falcon invitational at Niagara Wheatfield High School. Taking home first place finishes were Tyler Scheving in the 1600 and Jed Platt in the 3000 meter steeple chase. Platt's winning time set a new school record for the steeple chase. Other top five finishers included John Austin, Josh Sonberg, Jake Greenwald, Rutger Moeller, Mike Lantinen, Zach Alt and David Poyfair.
     
    The next meet will be the Niagara Orleans All-League meet on Wednesday and Thursday at Roy-Hart.
