MIDDLEPORT -- On Tuesday night Corina Giannone showed why she has been one of the most dominant track athletes for the past four years. Competing in the Niagara Orleans League Championship, Giannone won her third straight discus title, taking the event on her last attempt of the evening. Also having a big night was Savanna Gancasz, who competed in the triple jump. Jumping for the first time in almost three weeks, Gancasz set a new school record of 34 feet 5.25 inches. That jump was good for second place. She was closely followed by teammate Rachel Anderson, who finished third. Rounding out top five finishes was Nick Britt, who finished fourth in the discus event.
