    Lady Raiders Track Team Sinks Lakewomen For Third Victory

    WILSON -- Thursday night was a great night on the track for Girls' Track team. With a chance to win their third meet of the year, the Lady Raiders put forth some of their best performaces of the season to take sink the Wilson Lakewomen 94-63. Barker was led by Alex Gancasz, who had victories in the 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles, pole vault and 400 meter relay. Savanna Gancasz won the 100 and triple jump and was part of the winning 400 and 1600 meter relay teams. Eliza Dewart won the 200 and 400 and was on the winning 1600 meter relay team. Deanna Platt won the 1500 and 3000 meter runs while Corina Gianonne won the shotput and discus events. Rachel Anderson won the long jump while Sarah White won the high jump and was part of the winning 3200 meter relay team.
     
    Other members of the 3200 meter relay team were Crystal Mott, Margie Zaepfel and Sarah Scott. Mott and Scott also rounded out the winning 1600 meter relay team. Bree Sutch and Rachel Anderson joined the Gancasz girls in winning the 400 meter relay.
     
    The girls will compete in the Hutch Relays on Friday at Wilson.
