    Girls Track Team Edged Out By Niagara Wheatfield At Hutch Invitational

    WILSON -- On Friday night the Girls Track team returned to Wilson to participate in the Hutch Relays Invitational. The team had just been there 24 hours previously for a Niagara Orleans League meet. Barker narrowly missed out on capturing the overall title by a mere three points to Niagara Wheatfield. Barker took second out of six teams.
     
    Putting forth excellent efforts for Barker were Crystal Mott, Sarah White, Margie Zaepfel and Sarah Scott in the 3200 meter relay victory. Corina Giannone and Larissa St. Louis took first in the discus relay. Rachel Anderson, Bree Sutch and Savanna Gancasz grabbed a first in the jumpers relay. Also scoring points were Eliza Dewart, Alex Gancasz, Gabby Luce, and Deanna Platt.
     
    The next meet will be on Tuesday as Akron travels to Barker.
