    Bennes Represents Barker At Section VI Tennis Championships

    LANCASTER -- Congratulations to Erick Bennes who represented Barker at the Section VI Tennis Championships on Tuesday. Bennes played very well against the number seven seed from Fredonia, but lost 5-7, 5-7. Earning a spot in this tournament and playing such close sets is an impressive accomplishment.
     
    Barker plays will play Wilson on Wednesday at home in a match that will decide the league champion. Wilson defeated Barker earlier in the season, but with a win Wednesday and then on Thursday at Albion, Barker can clinch its first Niagara Orleans League Tennis championship.
