Raiders Defeat Mustangs In Well Pitched Game By Sutch
May 19, 2011BARKER -- The Varsity Baseball team put forth a great team effort defeating Medina on Thursday 12-3 behind the pitching of senior Mark Sutch. Sutch threw a six hit complete game while striking out five Mustangs. He issued only one walk. Sutch also helped himself along the way going 2 for 3 from the plate including two runs scored. Andrew Carmer, Zach Shaft and Brett Cole also had multiple hits, while Austin Blackley smoked a two-run homer to put the Raiders up for good in the bottom of the third inning.
