Barker lost to Medina on Thursday 4.5-1. Though the team lost, the play was much improved all around. Derek Fuerch played very well in his loss. Travis Wright and Erick Braham also played well, taking their first set to a tie-breaker. In one of the most exciting matches of the year at first doubles, Matt Hurtgam and Adrian Reyes defeated the unbeaten first doubles Medina team in three sets. The third and final set went to a tie-breaker and after being down two points, Hurtgam and Reyes played excellent tennis and came from behind to finish it 8-6.
The next match is Friday at home against Albion.
