BARKER -- Barker Tennis dropped a close match to Newfane on Thursday night. After winning their first sets, Derek Fuerch and Adrian Reyes lost in three, but battled all the way. Alex Niethe and Matt Hurtgam played very well and beat the previously undefeated Newfane first doubles team in three sets. Madeline Klatt improved her game against a tough opponent, as did Zack Smiolinsky and Erick Braham at second doubles and Austin Luzack and Peter Cantella at third doubles.
The next match is on Saturday in Wilson at 3:00pm.
