Pavlock Scores 4 Against Mustangs

BARKER -- The Modified Field Hockey team opened their season with a stellar win over Medina on Saturday morning. It was a memorable first game for the ladies on Barker's brand new turf. Sophia Pavlock led the team to victory with her 4 goals. Madyson Flint added 3 assists and Milayna May chipped in with 1 assist. All 3 players had a terrific game.
4 other offensive players including Autumn Lewis, Bella Bowerman, Maylee Snyder and Adalyn Snell helped keep the ball in the scoring end for most of the game.
Key defensive players, Addisyn Weller, Jillian Maines and Brisset Lopez Paz came up with some great plays to help support the team from behind. First time goalkeeper, Xyon Weese, looked like a natural.
The team will be home again on Saturday to play Roy-Hart/Wilson at 10:00 AM.
Lewis Scores At Pioneer

ARCADE -- On Saturday, the Modified Field Hockey team traveled to Pioneer and competed against Eden. The team played their best all-around game and everyone on the field contributed. Ella Gancasz started the scoring with the first 2 goals in the first half. Sophia Pavlock played a stellar game and assisted the first goal then added her own goal shortly after. Jillian Maines scored 3 goals during the game and played great defense. Autumn Lewis scored her first goal of the season in the second half followed by a goal from Lauren Zglinicki. The final goal was scored by Mady Flint.
Flint and Addy Weller each had an assist. Weller, Milayna May, and Makayla King played amazing games. Brisset Lopez Paz played a great game on defense and Ruth-Ann Daily didn't let any goals in the cage.
The team's final game will be on Saturday, October 14th at Amherst High School.
Maines Nets 3 Goals In Games At Akron

AKRON -- On Saturday morning, the Modified Field Hockey team played a stellar game as they competed against Medina and Wilson/Roy-Hart. The team worked hard and played all-around standout games. Throughout the day, the team tallied 8 goals while only allowing 1.
Jillian Maines led the scoring with 3 goals and played a great all-around game. Milayna May had her best game at midfield and scored 2 goals. Makayla King, Fallyn Mescall, and Addy Weller each added a goal. Maddy Flint, Autumn Lewis, and Lauren Zglinicki played great games on attack. Sophia Pavlock was strong at midfield and had 1 assist. Brisset Lopez Paz played tough defense and helped keep the ball out of our end and Ruth-Ann Daily allowed only 1 goal in the cage all day.
The team will next head to Iroquois on Saturday.
Atwater Comes Up Big Between The Pipes

BARKER -- The Modified Field Hockey team played to a 0-0 draw with Akron on Wednesday afternoon. The team played a tough game. Adeline Atwater had some great saves in the goal.
The Lady Raiders play their last game of the season at Roy-Hart on Thursday, September 29th.

BARKER -- The Modified Field Hockey team played an excellent game Thursday against Roy-Hart. The final score was 13-0. Hailey Dodge, Fallyn Mescall, Sara Meza Ray, Brooke Dunkelberger, and Jillian Maines each scored a goal. Jordyn Kinne, Sophia Gerhardt, and Elise Monaco contributed 2 goals each for the win.
Assists were made by Kinne, Gerhardt, Kaylee Dodge, Addisyn Weller, Sophia Pavlock, Monaco, Sara Meza Ray, Faith Bowerman, and Lauren Zglinicki.
Modified Field Hockey Comes Up Short Rain Shortened Contest

AKRON -- The Modified Field Hockey girls were unable to play a complete game against Akron on Monday afternoon due to a rainstorm, which resulted in a 1-0 loss. The team showed some great plays during the one half of competition.
The next game is this Thursday, September 22nd against Roy-Hart.

WILSON -- On Tuesday night, the Modified Field Hockey team defeated Wilson 5-0. Ella Taylor played an amazing game on attack and led the team, scoring her first hat trick.
Anna Bowerman played a great game in the midfield adding a goal of her own along with two assists. Sophia Gerhardt scored the second goal of the game and had an assist.
Maddie Detschner and Keira Dalton kept the defense strong and each had an assist on two corners. Julia Cimato, Lizzie Samson, Missy Outten, and Madelina Pavlock all played great games.
Moira Dwyer earned the shutout in goal.
The girls next game will be their last home game, playing against Roy-Hart on Thursday at 4:30 PM.
Meza Ray Scores First Career Goal

MIDDLEPORT -- On Tuesday night, the Modified Lady Raiders picked up another great win against Roy-Hart defeating them 4-0. Maddie Detschner lead the team with the first goal of the game, early in the first quarter and a added a second goal in the third quarter. Sara Meza Ray scored her first career goal in the first quarter and Macie May continued the scoring with a goal of her own along with an assist.
Madeline Pavlock and Sophia Gerhardt both played great games on attack and each had an assist. Julia Cimato, Ella Taylor, and Missy Outten played well on offense. Anna Bowerman and Macie May created great opportunities for their teammates to score. Hailey Dodge and Lizzie Samson played an outstanding game keeping Roy-Hart out of our end. Keira Dalton and Moira Dwyer shared the win in goal.
The next game will be on Thursday at home against Akron.
Detschner Nets Hat Trick In First Team Victory

BARKER -- The Modified Lady Raiders Field Hockey team picked up their first win of the season on Thursday night against the visiting Wilson Lakewomen. The team played a great game all around with big contributions from every player on the team.
Moira Dwyer got her first shut out in goal and had a few great saves. Madilyn Detschner led the team offensively with 3 goals. 7th graders Sophia Gerhardt and Hailey Dodge each added two goals and Sophia had three big assists. Macie May and Anna Bowerman both had great games in the midfield and each added 1 goal and 1 assist to the win. Madelina Pavlock scored her first career goal in an exciting first quarter. Keira Dalton and Lizzie Samson both played well all around and each had an assist. Missy Outten and Julia Cimato both had great first games on attack.
The next game will be Tuesday, October 13th at Roy-Hart.
