LOCKPORT -- On Wednesday, the Golf team took 6 members to Willowbrook to compete in the Niagara-Orleans All League Golf Tournament. Golfers from Barker included Jake Harris, Noah Costich, Shane Gerhardt, Seth Gerhardt, Nate Heidemann and Nathan Meza Ray. The boys competed hard and showed a drastic improvement since the beginning of the season taking 3rd place as a team, narrowly missing 2nd place by only 2 strokes.
Jake Harris had an outstanding day shooting an 84 and taking the 3rd place individual trophy. This was a 13 stroke improvement from his All League performance a year ago.

LOCKPORT -- Tuesday night, members of the Sub-Varsity Golf team traveled to Oak Run to compete in a 6-hole League tournament. Leading the way for the Raiders was Willard Nellist shooting 46. Seth Gerhardt had a 47,Will Goodlander was at 48, Jarrett Baker finished with a 50, Joey Cantella brought home a 51, and Brent Johnson added a 54.

MIDDLEPORT -- Wednesday night the Barker Raider Golf team earned it's first victory on the season defeating visiting Newfane at Niagara Orleans Country Club. Leading the Raiders once again was Jake Harris who earned his second consecutive medalist honors by shooting a 42. Also contributing to the victory was Mike Kibbe with a 52, Noah Costich with a 54, and Shane Gerhardt shooting 55.
In sub-varsity play Cody Wagner lead the way with a season low 50.
The Raiders will look to continue their winning ways as they play host to Albion on Friday.
AKRON -- On Monday the Golf team traveled to Dande Farms to take on league rival Akron. In the biggest match of the year the team put together one of their best performances of the season en route to a 221-239 victory. The win concluded a second consecutive undefeated season for the golfers, making it 34 straight matches without a loss. Leading the way for the Raiders was Alonzo St. Louis who shot 41 which earned him medalist honors. Mitch Luckman and Brad Wilson contributed with 42 and a 43 respectively to solidify the victory. Also playing well was Mike Snell who shot a 47 and Spencer Zimmerman who contributed with a 48.
In sub varsity play Jake Meister led the way with a career low 46. The golfers will look to cap another perfect season and bring home a third consecutive league team tournament title and a second consecutive league championship on Thursday as they travel to Willowbrook.

Golfers Cap Historic Season
Coach Daley would like to thank each member of the team for their hard work and contributions to this years team. All of you had a role in helping the team to its first-ever league championship. Congratulations to all members of the team.
In sub varsity play, Dalton Grosshans finished a wonderful career shooting a 63. Coach Daley and the rest of the team would like to thank Grosshans for his contributions over the last six years as a Varsity golfer. The victory helped to secure the team's first league championship in school history.
The golfers will look to complete their dream season on Thursday as they compete in the league team tournament at Willowbrook.
In sub varsity play, Spencer Zimmerman and Cody Baronich led the way shooting 50 and 52 respectively. The team will be once again be in action on Friday as they travel to Shellridge to take Roy Hart.
In sub varsity play several golfers shot career lows including 8th grader Josh Richbart with a 46, Brian Hefferon had his best round of 43, while Tristan Payne shot a 47, and Zack Shaft added a career-best 45.

MIDDLEPORT -- On Friday the Barker Raiders Golf team played one of its best matches of the season when it needed it most, coming up with a huge victory over visiting Medina 224-336. Medalist honors went to Mitchell Luckman who shot a 42. Nick Provencher came up with his best round of the season shooting a 43 to help in the winning effort.
In sub varsity play Spencer Zimmerman had a career best 43, while Zack shaft also had a career low 46. The win moved the Raiders to 9-0 on the season. The golfers will look to improve their record Monday afternoon as they travel to CSAT.

MIDDLEPORT -- Tuesday night the Golf team had a big win over the Akron Tigers. Despite the wind and rain the Raiders pulled through with a 244-258 victory, stretching their win streak to 13. Mitch Luckman led the way for the Raiders capturing medalist honors shooting a 46.
MIDDLEPORT -- On Friday the Golf team captured its 12th consecutive win defeating visiting Roy-Hart 239-335. Earning medalist honors was Alonzo St. Louis shooting a 42. Mitch Luckman added a 43 in the winning effort.

Leading the way for the Raiders and capturing medalist honors was Nick Provencher who shot a 43. Leading the way for the Raiders was Alonzo St. Louis who captured medalist honors shooting a two over par 39, freshman Brad Wilson added a 42, and Mitch Luckman chipped in with a 43.
