First Grade Receives Visits from Mystery Readers

Mrs. MontesantiFrom February 28th - March 28th, first grade students were visited by a mystery reader each day. Over the span of 21 school days, the students had 24 different guests read a story, chosen by the mystery reader. Students in Mrs. Gilbert’s and Mrs. Nobles’ class heard the following stories by the list of guests:

  • Mr. Carter: Norman Didn’t Do It! (Yes, He Did)
  • Mrs. Cottle: Dozens of Dachshunds
  • Mrs. Zablocki: Sam and Dave Dig a Hole
  • Mrs. Love: Hop on Pop
  • Mr. DerSarkissian: Giraffe and a Half
  • Mrs. Dissek: The Cranky Book and Little Green Donkey
  • Mrs. Riley: Greenlight
  • Dr. Reimer: Henry Explores the Jungle
  • Mrs. Bowman: Amelia Bedelia, Bookworm
  • Mrs. DeMarco: A Bad Case of Stripes
  • Mrs. Monaco: Clever Tom and the Leprechaun
  • Mr. Burke: The Eleventh Hour
  • Mr. Cornwell: Grumpy Monkey
  • Mrs. Finitz: I have Ants in my Pants
  • Mrs. Fuerch: Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog
  • Mrs. Bush: Peanut Butter and Cupcake
  • Mrs. Grabowski (Barker Public Library): Tony’s Hard Work Day
