Girls Swimmers Place 4th At G-R/N-O Crossover

ROCHESTER -- On Friday night, the Girls Swim team traveled to Gates-Chili for the Genesee Region/Niagara-Orleans Crossover Meet. Out of 16 teams, Roy-Hart/Barker placed 4th overall. Shelby Dauphinee placed 11th in the 100 Fly and Gloria Haller placed 13th in the 100 Fly. Cheyann Walker placed 10th in the 50 Free and 16th in the 100 Free. Madelina Pavlock finished 11th in the 200 Free and 14th in the 100 Free.
Dergal On 1st Place Relay; Girls Are League Champions

NEWFANE -- On Thursday, the Swim team traveled to Newfane and suffered their first loss of the season. Madelina Pavlock took 3rd in the 200 Free and 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke. Shelby Dauphinee placed 3rd in the 100 Fly. Cheyann Walker added a 3rd in the 50 Free. Pavlock and Walker were on the 2nd place 200 Free Relay. Despite the loss, the girls’ team is N-O League Co-Champions.
In Boys’ action, freshman Oscar Dergel took 2nd in the 50 Free, 3rd in the 100 Free, and was on the 1st place 400 Free Relay.
Swim Teams Earn Sweep During Week
January 14 & 16, 2025
MIDDLEPORT -- The Roy-Hart/Barker Swim teams continued their winning ways with both the girls and boys defeating Albion and Akron. With the wins, the girls remain undefeated. Shelby Dauphinee, Cheyann Walker, Mirabelle Strong, and Gloria Haller each had strong performances on the girls team while Oscar Dergel was influential in the boys winning their meets.
Girls Swim Team Remains Undefeated

MIDDLEPORT -- The girls swim team remained undefeated as they swam past Newfane on Tuesday. Madelina Pavlock took 2nd in the 500 Free, 3rd in the 200 Free, helped take 2nd in the 200 Free Relay and was part of the winning 400 Free Relay.
Mirabelle Strong finished 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke and 4th in the 100 IM. Shelby Dauphinee, Gloria Haller and Cheyann Walker won the 200 Medley Relay. Walker took 2nd place in the 50 Free, Dauphinee was 4th in the 100 Butterfly and 5th in the 100 Backstroke. Haller finished 5th in the 100 Butterfly.
Walker Earns Victory In 50 Free

MIDDLEPORT -- Over the winter break, the Swim team remained undefeated in N-O League competition after picking up a win over Medina. Shelby Dauphinee was part of the 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays and took 2nd in the 200 IM with a personal best time. Dauphinee also placed 3rd in the 100 Backstroke.
Cheyann Walker earned her Varsity victory in the 50 Free by taking 1st place and helped the team win the 200 Free and 400 Free Relays.
Gloria Haller won the 100 Butterfly with a personal best time.
Big Comeback For Girls At Akron

AKRON -- Thursday night the Girls team swam an exceptional meet at Akron where they trailed until the last relay when the girls took 1st and 2nd in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Madelina Pavlock was on the winning relay and Mirabelle Strong was on the 2nd place relay. Placing 2nd in 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke was Shelby Dauphinee. Pavlock won the 100 Free, and was 3rd in the 200 Freestyle. Strong finished 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke and 4th in the 200 IM. Lastly, the Medley Relay team with Gloria Haller and Dauphinee, took 2nd.
Girls Victorious At Albion

ALBION -- The Varsity Swim team traveled to Albion on Tuesday for N-O League action. Individual events results: Madelina Pavlock placing 2nd in the 200 IM and the 500 Free. Shelby Dauphinee took 3rd in the 200 Freestyle. Gloria Haller also took a 3rd in the 100 Butterfly. Mirabelle Strong placed 3rd in 100 Breaststroke.
Pavlock was also on the winning 400 Free Relay.
The Girls won the meet 53-40. The next meet will be Thursday, December 19th at Akron starting at 5:00pm.
Strong Grabs 3rd In 100 Backstroke & Part Of Winning Relay

MIDDLEPORT -- Last Friday night the Roy-Hart/Barker Swim team hosted visiting HAC from Rochester. Individual winners from Barker were Madelina Pavlock in both the 200 Medley Relay and part of the winning 400 Free Relay. Pavlock also took 2nd in the 200 Free and 3rd in the 100 Fly.
Gloria Haller swam the 100 Fly taking 4th and was 2nd in 100 Backstroke. Haller also swam the 400 Relay along with Shelby Dauphinee for a 2nd place finish. Dauphinee also took 2nd in the 200 Free Relay.
Freshman Mirabelle Strong took 3rd in the 100 Backstroke and was on the winning 400 Free Relay team. The girls team won 95-69.
On the boy’s side Oscar Dergel took 2nd in the 200 Free Relay and placed 3rd in the 200 Medley relay. The Boys lost by a score of 123-69.

BERGEN -- On Tuesday the Swim team traveled to Byron Bergen-Leroy for a Tri-Meet with Churchville-Chili. Madelina Pavlock was 1st in the 100 Breaststroke.
Freshman Oscar Dergel took 3rd in the 50 Free and 5th in the 100 Free.
Gloria Haller placed 4th in the 100 Butterfly and in her first Varsity meet, Mirabelle Strong was 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke.
The next meet is at Roy-Hart on Friday at 5:30 PM.
