Bulldogs Lose At Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE -- Monday night, the JV Girls Basketball team suffered a hard fought loss to Lyndonville. After a rocky start, the girls finished strong. The team gave an impressive effort playing the entire game with no substitutes.
The team is looking forward to closing out the season strong in their final two games. The next game is home on Wednesday against Alexander.
Weller's 3 A Deciding Factor Against Panthers
February 5, 2026
BARKER -- On Thursday, the Girls JV Basketball team earned a come-from-behind home win over the Newfane Panthers, 26–21. Aine Davis recorded a personal-best 14 rebounds and contributed strong defensive play.
In her first game back from injury, Addy Weller made an immediate impact with a clutch three-pointer and 8 rebounds.
Ruthie Wrobel led the team with 10 points and 31 rebounds, marking her second double-double of the season and setting a new team best on the boards.
The Bulldogs dominated the glass, out rebounding Newfane 67–29.
JV Bulldogs Drop Game To Tigers

AKRON -- Tuesday night, the Barker Lady Bulldogs JV Basketball team got off to a disappointing start at Akron but showed resilience by rallying back in the second half. Unfortunately, they came up short in a loss to the Tigers.
The team will host Newfane on Thursday.
Davis Shuts Down Top Scorer

BARKER -- On Thursday night, the Girls JV Basketball team lost a hard-fought game against Albion. Aine Davis stood out defensively by holding Albion's leading scorer to 0 points.
Lucy Lunde scored for the second straight game and finished with 3 points and 8 rebounds.
Xyon Weese delivered another strong offensive performance and finished with 9 points, 9 rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 blocks.
In her first game back from injury, Ruthie Wrobel had a huge night, setting new career highs with 18 rebounds and 6 blocks, while also adding 4 points.
It was a great effort by the girls and a lot to be proud of after a hard-fought matchup.
Career Highs By Several JV Basketball Players

CHEEKTOWAGA -- On Saturday, the JV Girls Basketball team defeated Cleveland Hill, 43–21. The entire team played great, and an impressive highlight from the game was that every player scored.
- Xyon Weese scored 6 points in back-to-back games.
- Addy Weller scored a career high 8 points.
- Aine Davis also scored a career high 7 points and led the team on the boards with 11 rebounds.
- Delaney Lefever turned in a strong all-around performance, scoring 7 points and led the team with 6 assists.
- Lilly Reyes had a huge game, setting a new career high with 15 points and added 9 steals.
- Lucy Lunde scored the first basket of her career.
JV Bulldogs Bounce Back
January 9, 2026
BARKER -- The Barker JV Girls Basketball team split their last two games, falling to Albion before bouncing back with an exciting come-from-behind win over Akron. Although the Albion game ended in a loss, Aine Davis turned in an impressive defensive performance, locking down Albion’s leading scorer and holding her to just 2 points for the entire game.
Lucy Lunde continues to impress, accounting for a combined 11 rebounds, 3 steals, and an assist over her last two games.
In the thrilling win over Akron, several players stepped up in big moments. Lilly Reyes had a strong outing, scoring 7 points and pulling down a new season-high 9 rebounds. Addie Weller came up clutch in the final minute with a game-clinching steal and assist to secure the victory, while also adding 2 points and 5 rebounds.
Delaney Lefever led the team in scoring with 9 points and filled the stat sheet with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 7 steals, pushing her season total to over 50 steals.
Wrobel Turns In Double-Double Against Wilson
December 19, 2025
BARKER -- The Barker Bulldogs JV Girls Basketball team took on Wilson and, after a rough start, settled in and matched Wilson’s scoring for the remainder of the game. The team showed resilience and determination throughout the game.
Aine Davis scored her first basket in her first game. Davis also contributed with 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Addisyn Weller turned in an outstanding defensive performance, taking on difficult assignments throughout the game and rose to the challenge with 5 steals while forcing 7 additional turnovers. Weller also had 3 rebounds and an assist.
Charlotte Haag, who leads the team in scoring, added 7 points on an impressive 60% shooting from the floor. She also contributed 6 rebounds and an eye-popping 8 blocks.
Last but certainly not least, Ruthie Wrobel recorded the team’s first double-double of the season. Wrobel finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Wrobel also added 4 steals, 1 block, 1 assist, and forced 12 turnovers.
Reyes Leads Team At Kenmore West
December 10, 2025
KENMORE -- Wednesday might, the JV Girls Basketball team battled Kenmore West in an intense matchup that came down to the final seconds. Playing short-handed, Barker left everything on the court, falling by the narrowest margin, 40-39. Even though the Bulldogs came up short, it was a gutsy, hard-fought effort from start to finish.
There were several standout performances worth celebrating. Delaney Lefever set a new career high with 9 points, while also adding 4 assists, 2 blocks, 7 rebounds, and an incredible 10 steals. It was Lefever's second double-digit steals game in the last three contests.
Charlotte Haag delivered another strong all-around game with 10 points, 2 blocks, 4 steals, and 7 rebounds.
Lilly Reyes led the team with a new personal-best 11 points, including a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line. Reyes also contributed 2 assists, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds.
Bulldogs Take Second In Kendall Tournament
December 6, 2025
KENDALL -- Congratulations to the Barker JV Girls Basketball team for earning 2nd place in the Kendall Tournament over the weekend.
Charlotte Haag, Delaney Lefever, Lucy Lunde, Lily Reyes, Xyon Weese, Addie Weller, and Ruthie Wrobel each contributed in the outstanding effort.
The picked up a 25-17 win over Holley to reach the finals before falling to Albion 42-18 in the championship game.
Lefever Steals 10 Against Dragons
December 4, 2025
BARKER -- The JV Girls Basketball team battled hard on Thursday night against Pembroke. Although they came up short, the girls put forth an outstanding effort in the second half. Ruthie Wrobel dominated the boards with 12 rebounds. Wrobel also added 2 points and forced 6 turnovers.
Delaney Lefever tied for the team lead in points with Charlotte Haag as both players scored 6. LeFever put on a defensive clinic with 10 steals and forced 2 turnovers.
Every player contributed on the stat sheet, and despite the loss, the team is energized and ready to keep pushing forward this season.
Haag Scores 10 In Game At CSAT
December 2, 2025
BUFFALO -- The Girls JV Basketball team picked up a road win in the first game of the season by defeating CSAT on Tuesday night. Every player contributed to the victory.
Charlotte Haag led the team with 10 points while Lilly Reyes added 5 and played great defense for the Bulldogs.
Lucy Lunde played in her first JV game and played tough defense to help seal the 30-27 victory.
