Monday, November 22, 2010 - 7:00 PM - The merger study consultants will present the final report to the Lyndonville and Barker Central School Boards of Education in a joint session. The presentation will take place at the Medina BOCES beginning at 7:00 PM. Members of the public are welcome to attend the joint session of the boards, however, this is not intended to be a public forum. Monday, December 13th at 7:00 PM - To solicit community input, our Board of Education has requested that the consultants hold a public forum. The public forum will take place in our auditorium on Monday, December 13th at 7:00 PM. District residents will have an opportunity to hear the presentation and express opinions. To accommodate the public forum, the regular meeting of the Board of Education scheduled for that evening will begin at 6:00 PM. |

June 7, 2010: The Merger Study Advisory Committee is to work with the consultants in an advisory capacity as representatives of the school/community. Members will serve as key communicators to representative constituent groups for the school/community, will assist in conducting presentations of the consultants’ final report, and will collectively serve as a sounding board for tentative recommendations prior to presentation of the report to the boards of education.
May 14, 2010: Barker Central School District seeks community members to serve on advisory panel for Merger feasibility study.
January 29, 2010: A letter was sent to district residents from Superintendent Roger Klatt outlining the details of a recent grant which was awarded to Barker Central School District
